The search for Britain’s Best Proposal is on!

When it comes to celebrating love stories, hen and stag experts Red7 have decades of experience. After helping thousands of couples party their way into married life, it’s time to go back to the beginning and ask: did your other half give you Britain’s Best Proposal?

Celebs have long been flaunting their beloved’s OTT proposals on social media, but Red7 wants to prove that, when love is in the air, the British public can be just as extra as any A-lister.

Some couples go big, flaunting their love for all the world to see. Kanye West’s proposal to Kim Kardashian made reality TV history when Ye declared his love rom-com style. Reportedly spending $3 million, Kanye led a blindfolded Kim into a floodlit baseball park to the sound of a 50-piece orchestra. The scoreboard lit up with his message: "PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!" and he presented her with a 15-carat diamond engagement ring, his favourite of three he had commissioned. The search for Britain’s Best Proposal is on!

Not all celebs need fanfare and fireworks, though. David Burtka showed us that the perfect proposal doesn’t have to be an all-singing, all-dancing event when he proposed to Neil Patrick Harris. David asked for their limo to pull over and surprised the How I Met Your Mother star by getting down on one knee on the very street where they had first met.

If your partner pulled out the stops to pop the question with a grand gesture or won your heart for life when they totally fudged it, you can nominate them by heading to Red7’s Facebook page and sending in your story and photos.

The couple that win Britain’s Best Proposal will receive the prize of a three-course meal for six at a high-end venue in their area, so the in-laws can meet and celebrate the engagement as a family.

Sarah Chapman, Head of Hen and Stag at Red7, commented: “We’re looking for couples that are meant to be together, whose proposal really showed their personalities and the depth of their love.

“From our 22 years of planning hen and stag experiences, we know that each love story is unique. Some are wild and adventurous, some are traditional and classic, and some are alternative and unusual.

“We want to celebrate the stories that show us what love is supposed to look like. Now, it’s up to the British public to tell us whether that’s a giant grand gesture with all the trimmings or your loved one understanding when plans go completely wrong! We can’t wait to read the nominations.”
