Fife’s Carphin House is the perfect destination for weddings of all sizes. Set in 15 acres of private land, the striking country house dates back to the 1790s. Nestled at the base of famous beauty spot, Norman’s Law, the triple chimney stacks of the house promise a hidden getaway on an exclusive-use basis whilst being extremely accessible - Carphin House is just an hour from Edinburgh airport and a short distance away from centres like St Andrews, Dundee and Perth.

Fife’s Carphin House, wedding venue ScotlandThe mansion was first owned by the Carnegie Family, and was designed and developed as a place for entertaining and 'wowing' guests of the time; something that continues to this day. New owners, Ruth and Ian Macallan have opened the house once more and extend a truly warm welcome to couples planning their big day.

The nine-bedroom house has been beautifully refurbished in light airy colours that naturally complement the original antiques, open fires and cosy atmosphere. The sumptuous public rooms make the house ideal for boutique weddings with the option of in-house event planners working with private chefs and local suppliers to create the perfect event.

In addition, the house’s secluded parkland situation makes it ideal for a larger wedding. With a marquee and even a bespoke venue, the Log House, planned for 2018, weddings for up to 180 can be held amongst the mature woodland with views down the glen.

A range of different packages are available: from a completely blank canvas using the venue alone, to everything entirely taken care of just as you’d wish. The choice is up to you!

If Carphin House seems like the perfect venue you have been looking for, please don't hesitate to get in touch to discuss your requirements.

Once of our expert wedding planners will be happy to help.
