This is one of our favourite times of the year as we welcome plenty of beautiful Spring weddings. We have been working with lots of couples on their big day to ensure they have the most perfect day. We are constantly looking and researching trends in colours, flowers, food and drink, music and lighting to help our couples stay one step ahead and incorporate them into their wedding day. Whether it’s a final touch to the flowers or helping a bride write a few words for her speech we are here to help and as a team have years of experience organising weddings and helping couples achieve their dream.
1 – In terms of colours for Spring weddings it can alternates between pale and interesting and nudes however this year and going into next big bright colours will be big news and will feature in lots of wedding themes. From bridal bouquets to table arrangements the colour will be seen in bright bouquets and table decorations as well as a pop of colour on the bridesmaid dresses and the groomsman outfits. Colour can also be brought in via room dressing, fairy lights with bold colours, napkins, cocktails and even the food served. Metallics will also feature and bright copper and bronzes can really brighten up the decorations. 
2 – Sustainability – is such an important element of most weddings. This trend has been gathering a pace for a few years now and was accelerated by the Royal family with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle choosing flowers that were in bloom in Spring and their classic E Type Electric Jaguar they used to drive to their reception. We are working with couples on lots of different ways this can be incorporated into their wedding such as choosing one of our vegan menus to asking guests to make a donation to a charity of their choice instead of wedding presents to having all the communication regarding their wedding online – from invites, to directions to the hotel to wedding breakfast menus the amount of paper being used is definitely being reduced.
3 – Brides making speeches is now a must in over half of our weddings. Brides want to stand up and make a speech that’s as impactful as their partners and in some cases the brides are the only person making a speech. We work with lots of couples to help them get the speeches just right and this includes talking about their new partner and thank their friends and family for coming along to help them celebrate their wedding day.
4 – Creating a cocktail that’s bespoke to the wedding couple is high on the list of priorities for lots of couples. Whether it’s created by the couple themselves or they draft in a mixologist to produce a cocktail that represents their relationship, individual characteristics and journey as a couple they really are en vogue. The cocktail is then served throughout the wedding from the initial drinks reception to the wedding toast.
5 – Tall cakes are back and they are bigger and better than ever. Three, four and five cake tiers are really popular and each one is often decorated in a different style. From nude wedding cakes to mallow decorated cakes lots of layers suit all types of filling and toppings.
