So, you’ve been put in charge of organising a hen party or bridal shower. No pressure! As you’ll know, there are a lot of plates to spin to ensure everyone, especially the bride-to-be, has the best possible experience.

Once you have booked the perfect venue, sourced or made all the decorations and stocked the fridge with plenty of bubbly it’s time to start thinking about some fun activities to keep everyone in the party mood.

Although it might be tempting to go into minute detail, we wouldn’t recommend over-planning as this can take away from the event’s spontaneity. On the other hand, when you’re in charge of entertaining a room full of people, it’s important to at least have a few activities in place.

If you’re savvy you will be able to work in some icebreakers and games to keep everyone in the party mood.

Looking for some activities that everyone can enjoy? There are lots of options available which allow you to take an established party game and make it unique to the bride-to-be and her hens. Below are just a few examples of this:

Charades

Pictionary

Quizzes

Bridal Bingo

Photo Booth

Putting your own spin on the suggestions above should give you a great starting point. Sprinkling a few games throughout the night will keep everyone engaged with the flow of the party letting everyone interact with the bride-to-be and each other whether it be head-to-head or as a team.

If you’re still desperate for more inspiration, we’ve featured an infographic to kickstart your imagination. Offering guidance on suitable gifts as well as games, this graphic is designed as a reference guide to help you pick the best possible activities for the upcoming event.

Now you’ve got some ideas - get out there - plan an unforgettable party and make some cherished memories.
