Located on the Landes coastline, the Huchet beach house and villas are a secret, hidden gem in the portfolio of three Michelin star chef Michel Guerard. The bolthole features an English Pavilion that exudes colonial charm, beautifully decorated with authentic furniture and paintings dating back to the Indo-Chinese and Indo-Portuguese periods. There are also two sun bleached villas, former hunting lodges, with equally stunning decors.

As part of the all-inclusive package, couples will enjoy chef’s “Cuisine Marine” dinner, featuring superb dishes including Salad of King Crab with Baby Lettuce and Citrus Velvety Sauce, Loin and Rack of Pyrénées Suckling Lamb grilled on the barbecue and Pear Soufflé with Dark Chocolate Sorbet.

A blissfull paradise perfect for a minimoon

As the Landes coastline is a favoured surfing spot for many and home to the warmest waters on France’s Atlantic coast, it’s the perfect place to enjoy an afternoon surf lesson (included as part of the package). Whether starting out bodysurfing or perfecting your Ariel, a private instructor will be on hand to help couples negotiate the constantly shifting sandbars and exceptional waves.

When honeymooners aren’t in the water there are ample activities to enjoy including walking between the sand dunes, exploring the local pine forest or just cosying up with a good book.

The Honeymoon Getaway package costs €4,417 (approx. £3,900) for two people, available from April 27th to September 29th, 2018, and includes;

- Three nights all-inclusive, exclusive-use villa accommodation with private chef

Minimoon by the beach Want to take the kids? Les Maison Marines D’Huchet welcomes families, with children under two staying complimentary (baby cot and chair provided). Children three – seven years of age cost €215 (approx. £190) per night, children eight – 15 years of age cost €295 (approx. £261) per night and children over 16 are classed as adults and cost from €1,350 (approx. £1,193) per night. Rates include bedding, food and drink.
