If, like me, you live relatively close to the Lake District but don’t get the chance to visit often, then stop. Drop everything. And go! As we drove up through Cumbria and along the winding roads approaching Ullswater, I was reminded of previous visits filled with pottering around lakesides, visiting tea shops and feasting in country pubs. I also found myself wondering why we don’t visit more often.
The National Theatre, one of London’s most prestigious and iconic landmarks, has unveiled its new wedding packages. These will be available at the soon to launch rooftop events space, The Deck, available to book now for events taking place from 6 August 2018.
Set against the iconic urban architecture and statement concrete backdrops of the theatre, the stunning new venue offers breath-taking panoramic vistas across London.
The new space boasts a large reception area wrapped with floor to ceiling glass panels which can be retracted on warmer days to create a free-flowing space onto the private outdoor terrace, meaning the spectacular view can be enjoyed whatever the weather.
