The Terrace - with 37 acres of charming grounds and coastal views, it features landscaped gardens, lily ponds and wild woodlands for an unforgettable drinks reception. A new pagoda on the terrace, next to the beach huts, is adorned with fairy lights, making it a perfect place for ceremonies or for a drinks reception.

The hotel has just 21 suites including the ultra-romantic Ada Lovelace Suite - a wonderful reminder and celebration of the Hall's fascinating history and links with Lord Byron, who got married at Seaham Hall in 1815. Their daughter, Ada Lovelace, born in the same year, has provided the inspiration for the grand suite with split-level rooms, featuring a chic glazed bathroom and mirrored boudoir, an elevated sleeping mezzanine overlooking a generous lounge with a bathing deck, and two mischievously-placed slipper baths which sit in front of the stunning Georgian windows overlooking the Seaham Estate and the sea beyond.

Seaham Hall is under three hours by train from central London, and by car is just 20 minutes from Durham, 40 minutes from Newcastle, 90 minutes from Edinburgh and less than three hours from Manchester.
