Chic Ibiza offers a wide range of luxury villas as well as restaurant and venue options, for the perfect Ibiza wedding. Usually the wedding week in Ibiza becomes an entire week of celebration, with hen and stag nights/days, pampering days, clubbing, restaurant tables, boat hire and VIP tables being most requested. Chic Ibiza is able to make the whole week memorable, complimenting the wedding day and giving all guests the chance to experience the fun side of the island.   PROS   Cost! Weddings abroad are decidedly cheaper than ceremonies in the UK, which on average typically cost around £25,000. By marrying abroad, the couple get a holiday as well – so the preparation and time spent after the event can be fully enjoyed in relaxing, warm surroundings.   Save on the exchange rate Couples can save a fortune if the rate is favourable. For example, the Pound is currently strong against the Euro, which makes European weddings much cheaper than this time last year.   Off-season bargains If you are flexible about your wedding date, then consider getting married out of season. This is when villa rates are much lower for instance – so couples may save even more money and still have a fabulous day.

Airline concessions Many airlines will offer lower fares with a group travel rate for wedding parties overseas.     CONS   Not all guests will attend Obviously with travel costs, you are almost certainly set to have a reduced guest list to share in your special day. We see this as just the nearest and dearest however, and it can be a good way of whittling down a guest list, if you need to suit a certain venue.   Timing is key If couples leave it too late, they won’t have time to sort out the marriage paperwork, it can take some time (3-6 months), depending on the country.   The extras Apart from paying for the actual wedding abroad, couples shouldn’t forget to build in the cost of the extras. These include travel and wedding insurance and making sure any documents are translated and legal.

Chic Ibiza can assist in organising accommodation for the whole party, with a portfolio of 40 luxury villas and also good knowledge of which resorts might suit family and friend’s needs.
