Multiple award wins for North East wedding venue

CHAMPAGNE corks are popping at a top North East wedding venue after it scooped four major awards in just three months.

 

Newton Hall, which overlooks the award-winning Northumberland coast and specialises in innovative and creative outdoor weddings, has seen off competition from across Britain to be named Best UK Coastal Venue at the UK Wedding Awards.

 

And the win follows hot on the heels of a trio of regional triumphs, including Best North East Countryside Wedding Venue of the Year at the Wedding Industry Awards, Best Wedding Venue at the North of England Wedding Awards and Best North East Venue at the Bridal Book Awards.

 

Owned by North East leisure operator Apartment Group, Newton Hall offers a coastal as well as a countryside setting and managing director Duncan Fisher said its latest award win is proof of its national, as well as regional appeal.

“Brides no longer expect to marry in their home town,” he said. “They want a spectacular venue that will fulfil their fantasies – and they are prepared to travel to the end of the country.
