Macmillan launches new wedding favours collection for 2018

Wedding favours

Macmillan Cancer Support has launched a brand new range of wedding favours ahead of this year’s wedding season.

The beautifully crafted gifts are a great way to thank guests, honour absent friends and raise money for the growing number of people living with cancer in the UK.

From pin badges to place cards, the new collection has products to suit every taste. Each favour includes information about Macmillan, the website address and support line number (0808 808 00 00).

All money raised will help Macmillan continue to provide emotional, financial, medical and practical support. For information on Macmillan’s wedding favours, visit shop.macmillan.org.uk/wedding

Pre-loved wedding dresses sought for charity auction

The Welcombe hotel reception

A wedding charity dress auction at Hallmark Hotel The Welcombe, is seeking pre-loved wedding dress donations from local brides that would like to see theirs enjoyed once again while supporting a good cause. The charity auction, which is in aid of children’s charity Molly Olly’s Wishes, is due to take place on Wednesday 11th April 2018 at Hallmark Hotel The Welcombe, Stratford-Upon-Avon.

Molly Olly’s Wishes was founded in 2011 to help families with terminally ill children to cope with the emotional and financial struggles that can come with their children being in hospital. The charity launched after parents Rachel and Tim Ollerenshaw lost their eight-year-old daughter Molly to a Wilms tumour.

YOU ARE NOW JOINED IN HOLY MUTTRIMONY

Dogs Trust Wedding Favour

As you prepare to embark on the most important day of your life, there are so many things to consider – from chasing RSVP’s to planning bridal party outfits and not to mention organising favours. While you’re putting the finishing touches to your big day, why not spare a thought for thousands of homeless hounds across the country who are not yet lucky enough to find ‘the one’, and instead of opting for traditional edible favours, make a donation to Dogs Trust, the UK’s largest dog welfare charity, on behalf of your guests.
