Nominations are open, this year with a twist. Hen and stag expert Red7 has added five new categories to celebrate the amazing stories behind each wedding day.

Bringing the glamour: The bridesmaids that make the shortlist for this category will have added a touch of sparkle to the big day.

Picture a British wedding and some familiar images come to mind – a white dress, vows we all know by heart, a toast to the bride and groom, and confetti in the air as the happy couple drive away in a ‘just married’ car... the great wedding traditions.

That kind of vignette has been the closing shot to many a film and has been ingrained in British culture for more than a century.

But all those wedding traditions are under threat according to a survey by group travel experts Red7.

The survey, which polled 2,002 respondents in the UK, showed that attitudes to weddings are seriously changing.

Group travel experts Red7 knew that the search for Britain’s Best Bridesmaid would be a lot like planning a wedding – a rollercoaster packed with stories of loyalty, hilarity and plenty of surprises. After examining nearly 500 nominations from brides across Britain, the wait is finally over. 

Stag and hen experts Red7 are scouring the nation in search of Britain’s best Best Man.

Did your Best Man pull out all the stops on the stag do? Perhaps he delivered a tone-perfect speech at the wedding reception or peppered the wedding day with surprises à la Love Actually.

Whatever the reason, if your Best Man puts the others to shame, Red7 wants to know!
